overlord 1 vs overlord 2

from your experience, which has more content, better gameplay, and maybe mods?

I don't know about mods but Overlord 2 is the better game in my opinion. It's more polished, designed better and has better Overlording madness in it, especially with the fact that the morality system is no longer good vs evil and just kill vs enslave.

That all being said I do miss the Arena from Overlord 1 and Overlord 1 did have better enemy variety which along with more interesting spells to use. Also Hell Rising DLC is the best.

If codemasters every made an Overlord 3 I'd hope they'd bring the best of both worlds. That being said with fellowship of evil it might be for the better we don't get an Overlord 3

Overlord 1 has a much better story and multiplayer, but Overlord 2 has better gameplay mechanics. Also the Domination/Destruction feature is way better than the corrupt system from Overlord 1.

i agree with Platinum. if they could take the mechanics from 2 and make it into 1 i think it would be the best, i feel like 1 has more varied locations and enemy types. plus i loved that you could get your minions pretty early on and not like overlord 2 where you would only get blue around the end of the game
