My save file is gone

Hello developers of this video game. After 30 hours of playing this game and getting almost all achievements on my save file, I was on an extremely good run and the game crashed after I switched summons in Andromeda's Bar before the second boss. It crashed on the loading screen after I exited the resting zone. After noticing that my PC was not responding, I hard restarted my PC. After booting my PC back up and starting the game again, I was appalled to find that my save file was completely deleted. Please fix this issue.

Same, except not from the game crashing. This has happened twice to me now, not really sure why. Every time I quit the game I do so by opening the menu and selecting quit from there (not alt+F4 or anything like that).
