Edit (to OP and to melioratio's reply below): I'm seeing the SteamOS icon on the store page which indicates the availability of a native Linux/SteamOS build. SteamDB (https://steamdb.info/depot/1280933) also confirms that. Which runtime (Proton/native) the Deck Verification badge was tested against, however, is unspecified.
If it's a native Linux build, then please, please do release it on GOG!
