Operation Magazine Mod Download & Folders
G'day. First off, I''m not computer literate and am basically a technical luddite. My question is to whether there is a particular way or method in downloading this mod. When I click on the download link for this this mod, all I seem to get is a "Operation Magazine v1.5.10 7z file" of 411,727 KB. Yet, I believe or expected two folders , titled "Base OM Mod" and "OM All Ships in Campaign", which I should place in the games Mod folder and activate through JSGME. Obviously I'm missing something basic, but for the life of me, am unable to figure it out. How do I get these two folders? Any assistance or advice would be appreciated. Regards, Vibes.

The 2x folders you are looking for are sub-folders under the folder called "MODS". You just need too click through the file directory.

Thanks Seawolf. Yes, I see the "MODS" sub-folder when I click through the file directory when I go to download. My issue, is that whatever I click, it'll always be a "7Z file" titled Magazine V1.5.10. It doesn't download as folders for me to put in the MOD folder of the game. Maybe I need to convert this "7Z" file to something else or do I need some other program to facilitate this download? Anyway, have hit a wall on this.

As I'm new to the game, I'll learn other stuff first on vanilla and as it seems that the ADBA mod doesn't involve OM, TTE or Pacific, I guess I'll concentrate on the early part of the Pacific campaign if I persist with it.

You need to download the software 7zip (7Z) or WinRar.
Both are free to download.

https://www.7-zip.org/

I use WinRar but I saw some others mention to use 7 zip. I think this may have to do with Win 10 not unblocking dll files.

Download 7 zip, then go to the 7z files from the mod download and right click on it and select 7 zip. Files are compacted for quicker downloading and storing so we use 7 zip to extract the files so the game can read the files.

If you have any issues with how to 'unzip'/extract the files you can search on google or there is probs a youtube video showing you. I know there is a youtube video showing this on the TTE page under instructions for installation.
