rtbCT is a JSGME tool whit the objective of making multiple mods compatible whit each other whit a simple and lightweight override file. The main objective is not only saving the team time to work on new ship models, but also not making the players wait for a compatibility update on his favorite mod. This simple file will be updated ASAP after every JSGME mod compatible update.

Must use JSGME for a more simple and smooth sailing installation.

Current Tool Version and What's New

rtb Compatibility Tool (V 4.0.0): 17/02/22

In the past few weeks, it has become apparent that the NoE and TTE mods have different end-goals in mind when it comes to many game mechanics such as ship balance, campaign play, multi-mod compatibility, and historical accuracy. Due to these creative differences, maintaining mod compatibility in the long run, is not feasible. Therefore, in order to reduce support workload and make the experience easier for the user: TTE and NoE will be split in 2 different base mods. No support will be offered in regard to making TTE and NoE work together from this date forward.
In regards to Operation Magazine: OM will still require TTE as a base mod, and will also not be compatible with NoE, and no support will be provided.

On a more cheerful note, new projects are quickly gaining momentum which makes me happy to announce new content will be added soon.

Hello! I'm very unsteady with how mods work in WotS so I have a couple of questions... I already have TTE and OM mods installed and working using JSGME, but I feel like I just got lucky to make them work :D

I have downloaded the rtbCT "MODS" folder, now can you please tell me what I do with the contents of that folder? I see 5 subfolders inside, do they ALL go in the game's mods folder here?
\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\War on the Sea\MODS

Yes you place everything in MODS and once you open JSGME you select the ones you want enabled or not. If you follow the order available everything will be working alright.

I only do the compatibility, base mods should be present always. For further questions join our discord.

Hey! I know that this mod comes with instructions but I’ve been having trouble getting these mods working together whilst trying to follow said instructions….

I was hoping that someone could give me some detailed advice on how to get these mods working together as they sound awesome and I really want to try them out!

The Mods I’m trying to work with is TTE, Rule Britannia, Operation Magazine, and extra Sea Formations mod.
Is their a specific order the mods need to be installed in?
Are they all compatible?
I keep getting warnings that certain mods have already altered game files and that adding more could cause problems; how do I get past this?

If anybody could offer some advice or instructions I could use, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance

rtbCT is now updated. Some irl issues delayed the update but I'm happy to announce this issue has come to an end.

No it wont mate, the creator of NOE took a dump on the maker of this mod so its not compatible.
