On AAA i am already working so much, different calibers will have differences for AAA, this change will be in 1.6.0
1.6.0 will be big and so many things will be different and i hope better
You can easily reproduce it:
Use Custom Battle mode → Create 5 identical ships → enter the game →FROM UP (Line Ahead) → command them to release smoke together → Turn the rudder according to the wind direction so that smoke covers the ships in front or behind
In order of severity:
Siegfried > Agir > Scharnhorst > Gneisenau1943, carnot and Odin did not have this problem
Siegfried: It freezes very quickly and it always does, even before a smokescreen covers a ship
Agir: A little bit better but still always there
Scharnhorst: If the wind doesn't cover the ship at first, it will appear slowly after the ship is covered by smoke
Gneisenau1943: appears when a lot of ships are covered
For ships with this problem, if not their smokescreen is any different from other ships
So maybe there are some differences in their models, like the coordinates of the parts, the positions of the flags, things like that
Hopefully, this will help you take a look at these boats, maybe uncover something you missed before
1. Oh, it's a bit of a shame, the default ships are good in this respect, because night battles are also a big part of the game, these default ships are brighter in night battles and have a better visual experience
Also, I've seen a lot of videos promoting and discussing this game MOD, and there are a lot of comments expressing the problem that these models are great but not bright enough (how exciting it is to fight in storms or at night, but these new ships are too dark and not as clear as the default ships).
I will share some game screenshots of modded ships and default ships so you can see the difference
So, can you make them look a little brighter? Maybe not as reflective as the default boat, if there is another way, allow me to look forward to that
2. I'm not a fan of camo, although it's great in WOWS, but it's a different game, unity and authenticity are important, so take your time and do what you want
Just hope that by the time all the new ships are finished, they will have a special version with all of them painted, or a special version with all of them unpainted
-American: United States (CV)
-British: Malta Class (CV)
-British: 1942 Light Fleet Carrier Design (Colossus/Majestic Classes) (CV)
I only asked that they be added in a future update if/when possible; since I’m a bit of a geek for never built WW2 Designs.
As for the 1942 light fleet carrier design? From what I know, that carrier was based on the Illustrious class carrier design; simply downgraded in the fields of armor, armament, size, etc, but the physical profile is practically identical to the Illustrious class for the most part. So if you are able to get a model of the Illustrious you have one for the Colossus (just smaller in Stature and with modified stats)…
