We didn't get a later campaign, but we did get a lot of ship / plane assets added which can be used in solo battles or by modders to go beyond OP Watchtower.
War on the Sea: Atlantic
War on the Sea: Mediterranean
War on the Sea: WW1
War on the Sea: Russo-Japanese War
War on the Sea: American Civil War
War on the Sea: Anything
Well said! - I am nearly up to 900 hours of game play and there is plenty more to come. I have not yet played the Dutch East Indies mod yet and also there is another new mod coming set in the Indian Ocean. WoTS has been excellent value for money.
The modders are doing their best to extend the lifespan of this game, but without the mods I would never have reached 730 hours of gameplay and that's something to keep in mind with the whole situation. Although the developers brought the game to life, it was the modders who made it flourish and worthwhile.
