Repairing ships
Can someone explain how the ship repair is going?
I know how to get them into repair, but when the timer runs out, I can't find my repaired ships anywhere and it doesn't seem like i'm getting my command points back.

What I do see is the ships I used to have, I can recruit them again (yet I don't have the command points to buy back 2 CV and around 15 other ships)

when you put your ship into repair/release when it damaged it goes to the repair list for x number of days.. then it goes back to the available to recruit list.. Unfortunately you do not get the entire spent value back after it has been repaired.. TTE on the other hand gives all your points back if you release your undamaged carrier back to get resupplied with planes after around 3 days. Then you can get it, or any other ship that is available with your command points.

Been seeing a lot of smartass comments like this all over the forum. I just bought the game and have played a little. Of course I will do the training, etc...

But this kind of snobby reply to people learning games like this IS EXACTLY WHY NOBODY PLAYS THESE GAMES!!

How about you either not say ANYTHING or help out newbies trying to learn the game. You know, so that way MORE people will buy complex games like this so we CAN GET MORE OF THEM.

Its jerks like you who go tell people to 'read the rules' when they ask a question that make people just stop asking AND STOP PLAYING. TO then NOT buy games like this.

If you don't understand that you are not as smart as you think you are and need to swallow a humility pill or two.

To then have games like this not make money and not be made because CEO's assme the average person can only like 'Mario'.

Please. A quick forum search would show that this question has been asked and answered several times in the past weeks. If we were talking about some unexplained mechanic in the base game I might agree, but this is about a mod that comes with install instructions and an extensive feature list.

Hi, Chimeara from the TTE team here. We get this question maybe 2-3 times a day, and we're really tired of answering something that people could find out themselves if they just took a few minutes and read the mod description. It's like asking someone to come help you put together furniture without looking at the instructions first. So we ask them to please read the mod description first, and if they're still having trouble, we will help them. We just want to encourage people to read the mod description to save us a couple of headaches. Hope this helps you understand our viewpoint here, have a nice day!

.

Go and read. Go and find stuff on your own. This question is asked multiple times a week. Game and mods offer instructions plenty. Just because you are lazy and want everything on a silver platter doesn't mean anything to anyone. Guess what, in the real world you gotta actually do things on your own than extend the hand and hope for a pigeon to drop a golden poop in your palm.

So why not cite these questions (and answers) at the front of the discussion section as "FAQ"??????? I got kicked around and I have dyslexia and I know nothing about code, exe. or whatever.

im glad to see someone else was thinking this. I am quite tired myself of seeing horsecrap where someone took the time to type all the smartass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but didnt even bother to give a quick answer to help anyone out...... ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT THIS POST bc there isnt a youtube video of it. or at least a quick one. ANY NEW PLAYER WITH THIS GAME WILL SEE THIS and all they mainly see is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. its a forumn for discussions and learning. not for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who have alot of time to just to spite people. this man deserves an award for bringing it up.

ALRIGHT BOYS HERES THE ANSWER

WHEN YOU RELEASE/REPAIR YOUR SHIPS....there is nothing that tells you how long it will take. depending on the extense of damage your ship is, it will take take days to repair.

when the "repair" is done. you will get reimbursed with the command points you used to buy the ship in the first place. i couldnt find anything as to find the information on knowing how many days itll take. but actually your just giving your ship away to eventually get your cp points back. to me..... you might as well just keep using it until it sinks.

Aren't you terribly disrespectful, to say the least?

We modders write all the details a person could need about the mod. It is disrespectful to ask a modder something if it is covered in the mod description. We write it so you lot can have it there and check anytime you need.

If you had bothered to look the answers you would actually see there is a nice reasoning and some quick mathematics behind his "mysterious" behavior. It is in the game too, but you want instant answers, instant gratification. Keep walking.

Dude, this is all described detailed under "Economy Rework" in the MOD description.

Also, the game itself will tell you how long the repair will take. All you have to do is click on the "Dockyard" tab.

Lastly, why should anyone waste their time answering repetitive questions when certain people are not willing to waste their own time first properly reading the MOD description, using the search function, or playing the tutorials?
