problems exporting clothes as png
Hello, I do know if it is considered a bug, but when exporting only the clothes as png the appearance of the clothes is as if they were dressed by an invisible person, the idea I have is to create a game with Ren'Ry and save space using a feature it has, but I can't put the images of the clothes on the character on top.

Maybe there should be two ways to render clothes, the current one and one where it is not visible inside the clothes

This is the Ren'Ry feature I want to use: layeredimage

I also have another problem, the parts of the body that are on the clothes are covered when putting the clothes on, for example in the akimbo pose, the fingers are covered by the clothes.

I do not know if it is possible that for export as png the image is rendered only as the part of the clothes that is visible.

I appreciate the attention of the developers, I am very satisfied with this software.

Hello! Yes, we're aware of this situation and do realize how the output should be for 'plug-an-play' use with functions similar to layeredImage on Ren'Py. We're working on better alternatives for this one, just as you suggested. Hopefully we'll have something to show regarding this matter in a relatively short time.

Thanks for your hard work, is there any news on the solution to this problem?

Hello! Yes, we have made some progress regarding this, but still fine-tuning how the rendering behavior works with poses like crossed arms, akimbo, etc. where a lot of body parts overlap each other. Looks like it won't be available for the next version (0.3.12), but we can do it for the version after (0.3.13)

I was just coming to this forum to ask about this very same thing! I believe this could also fix my issue with layering & characters with glasses because I can layer the clothes on top of the eyes whereas currently I have the body+clothes with expressions on top.

Good to know there's something in the pipeline for this :)
