Meter by the player portrait?

The curved one not the dash meter. Is that aesthetic, or does it indicate something? It clearly goes from blue to green. Cleared game and didn't even really notice it until now.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that meter shows how long the power ups (Shield / Electric Shot) will last. It drains over time, but can be replenished by killing enemies with your punch attack instead of the laser whip thingy. (Just get really close to an enemy before attacking and you'll do the punch instead)

Wait. What's the one under health then? OP called it a dash meter but I don't remember a dash button. Is that the zipline?

EDIT: Silly me, it drains when you slide. I just never noticed because I was too focused on everything else going on.
