Hooded Horse is a publisher founded with the express purpose of working with indie strategy games studios.
As for the developers:
Terra Invicta is being made by the creators of Long War 1 and 2.
Alliance of the Sacred Suns began as Imperia over 5 years ago, when it was sold through the developer's website and enjoyed by players for many years of free updates.
Falling Frontier has a ton of released gameplay footage for players to check out: https://www.youtube.com/c/StutterFoxStudios

How many have definite release dates showing there? Victoria 3 doesn't, Age of Empires IV doesn't, Warhammer III doesn't.
Humankind does have a definite date showing there...that got pushed back from its earlier release date.
This is the reality of game development, even for the largest studios. If you want to ensure a game is fully ready for players and delivers on its promises, there's no way to predict an exact date.
All 3 of the developers we are working with are committed to ensuring high quality, so release dates will only be announced when we get close to them, to ensure there will be no pressure to rush the game out before it is ready.
Yep, that is basically our guiding principle in publishing, in the hope that fans will find something to love about multiple games.
Worth noting that all 3 games have completely independent development, and all 3 were being developed for years before Hooded Horse signed on to help with the marketing aspects. We look for promising indie strategy games to fund--that's pretty much our entire goal. If anything us signing on should make you more confident about the games, because before we sign publishing contracts we always dig in and make sure the game's development is living up to its promises.
