*BUG* Mic Problems

been playing DH for a good bit but now i hae a Mic problem that is all distorted or all static and ie done everythign to fix it so any tips would be nice or a patch to the game to fix this bug!

Do you have another computer, a friend's perhaps you could use to test the mic out on for DH?

I have the suspicion your issue is a specific hardware, driver, or background process problem. Knowing that the mic works on other hardware for the game would be step #1 IMO to confirming this.

I'm also assuming you don't have the distortion in other games. There are a lot limitations on the mic setup in the UT 2.5x engine. So there aren't a lot of things you can try tinkering with on that end.
