IS THERE SIMPLE SOLUTION TO PLAY THIS MOD IN LINUX ?

It's actually very simple, but multiplayer isn't working* because DH does not as yet have proper steamworks integration.

Darkest Hour is just a directory within Windows RO1. If you copy this directory to your RO1 install on Linux for me this is in:

~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Red Orchestra

You then need to add this to your launch parameters for RO1 within Steam:

-mod=DarkestHour

On first run the mod will load and also create configuration entries in ~/.redorchestra

Adjust these entries as desired, just like you had to with RO1 for things like switching off bloom etc.


*If you do get internet multiplayer to work, let me know. I can't at all.
