Ice Fire and Poison runes from items extraction possible???

Hi. I got one ice rune in my city back.
But when i try to get another one and put my items in the building i only get standard ressorces back.
Is there a bug or what must i do or must the items have a special level or something else???
I need the runes fpr upgrading my items to level 10, right? Standard is level 5 maximum with gold.
Ca you make a description for beginners, think all players have trouble with the city options.

Hi BxBender, I extended the description of the orbs a bit in the latest patch. Do you think this explains enough or would you add anything else?
