Is this a sequel ?

I played the first one and enjoyed more than i expected , so i have to say thanks for that. I'm wondering if this is a sequel or is it a different game ? Would be nice to play with our character from first game and bring to the next. Anyway some recommendations : Having more avatars to choose from. Decisions have more impact. Make it bigger .

And i wonder if you will continue to release vampire masquerade games after since i love the theme.

PS : Are this games supposed to be "prequels" to bloodlines 2 ?

Neither of the spin-off games are technically considered to be prequels to VtM:B2. They take place in the same world and happens between 1 and 2, but are their own independent stories. What happened in both games will likely not affect the story of 2.

bloodlines 1 take place in LA. This one take place in New York. Same theme, different story, different game mechanic.

And Bloodlines 2 will take place in Seattle.

Storywise I doubt Bloodlines2 will have much anything to do with this game apart from possibly the iconic characters from the old stories and games. (Beckett in VtMB1, Catherine Wiese in here)

Shadows of New York IS however a sequel to the Coteries of New York. The protagonist is different, but there are several characters from Coteries present. I am not sure if thats what you were asking.

This is absolutely a sequel, but it isn't a continuation of the same story. Many of the Kindred you encounter and the scenarios that are referenced are from Cotories of New York. But you play as a different character.

WARNING SPOILERS: This is a sequel (1 year later) to Coteries of New York. Your protagonist from the first game has disappeared the same night as Sophie Langly so its unknown what Arturo has done with your character. Your coterie members were used by Kaiser, hired out to others until they began to put two and two together and became liabilities to the power players. Agathon has disappeared - possibly dead although I hope he has just fled to join Juno; Hope achieved her goal of replacing Cara Montgomery (still unknown whether she diablerised her) and under the protection of the Malkav Primogen; while D'Angelo and Tamika are hunted by SI and others because they may too much.
