It kinda appears like the game would be loading all assets to check which it actually needs and then discards everything just to have to re-load it over and over again - given the long load-times for everything.
1.- From the moment the play button is pressed, it takes approximately 11 seconds for the Unity screen to appear.
2.- The Unity screen disappears, and it spends 40 seconds more, with a black screen, showing nothing.
3.- Then a loading screen appears, which takes an additional 12 seconds to disappear, and then the main menu appears.
In summary, the game takes just over a minute to load, which may not seem like much at first, but when you're waiting with a black screen, it feels eternal. If it can't be reduced, perhaps it would help or make the process more bearable if, instead of a black screen, a progress bar appeared.
