Stepper motor keybinds are borked

You can't set WASD to a stepper motor without all motors working when any assigned key is pressed. What's the point of this part if it does this?

Assign them to different inputs. I have several cars with rear tail fins that also act as air brakes, each assigned to numpad 7 and 9 respectively. Then I use Steam input to activate them individually with the L and R buttons and collectively with full left trigger.

COOL!!! I know absolutely NOTHING about Steam input... is it an additional program, or in one of the menus?

It's a feature from steam itself
Library > Right click > settings > controller > controller configurator

In mine, it's apparently Library > Right click > properties > controller > controller configurator
