THat's a bizarre claim to make.
THis company is not exactly known for breaking copyright laws.
The fact that they removed the screenshot of the Charlotte rip-off ever since I posted this kind of says it all.
Sorry, but that's not how it works.
You have to provide evidence that it's 100% a copy of the character. Whoever that is.
Again, you're the first person to ever accuse this company of doing that.
So, you have to provide evidence. The Burden of Proof is on you to prove copyright infringement. Since you were the first person to accuse them. Of all people.
Also, I've never heard of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. So, I doubt it's a huge popular thing.
To claim that they removed the screenshot because of your thread is amusing to say the least.
THat is not something that happens.
Not sure why you're shilling for this company (especially since others who previous replied have seen the removed pic as well), but regardless, someone is bound to make a let's play of this game. Unless they pulled it from the game itself (which I doubt), it will be on YouTube sooner or later. Perhaps I'll email Aniplex of America to see what they think about it if that's the case.
Also, you have yet to even tell me what Puella Magi Madoka Magica is.
Kind of a big deal to explain what it is you're accusing a company of doing.
Period. You have to literally explain how they broke the law. You can't just say they did. If you say they are breaking the law you have to give an example.
This company has no reason to sabotage themselves with using illegal copywritten works.
Period.
That is just common sense. You clearly know nothing about this company at all if you think they're going to destroy their reputation for no reason. LOL wut.
THat makes no sense to even suggest.
No one who replied has said they have seen the removed image.
I'm not sure where you got that from.
All I am asking for is informaiton on what Puella Magi Madoka Magica is, and why you think the screenshot was a rip off.
ALl you need to do is link me to a wikipedia article on the formentioned game/movie/anime/whatever.
Is Google broken or something? Search for these things yourself instead of shilling for this company.
All I did was ask you for evidence. By asking you to provide evidence, you cannot complain about me asking for evidence. PEriod. It literally is not allowed.
If you're going to go around accusing people of breaking the law, you better have a better legal standing in a court of law than, "I said it's true! And if anyone disagrees with me, they're a shill." :P
I'm just saying.
You have to answer me, why would this company break copyright law?
You have to answer that. You have to answer this question. So, please do so.
ALso, I own no games from this company.
Ergo, I cannot be a shill. I Have never been interested in their games. Not my type of game to play, sir. The only adult game I Have is Subverse, and I'm still waiting for it to be fully playable. Not a Early Access.
Why get upset when someone challenges your idea? It makes no sense. No one does that if they're serious about a claim. You can't call people shills just because they tell you you have to bring evidence of your claims.
You can't go around saying, "You have to believe me, or you're a shill."
Go ask the people who own the rights to this show/movie you mention. That's your best bet.
Heck, even posting this thread causes more problems legally for you than it does for the devs of this game.
Also, if they were guilty, they'd delete this post. :P
I wouldn't pick a fight here on this dev's forum. I'd pick a fight on the actual Steam forums.
Where people can explain to you how libel laws work. :)
Not gonna waste my time explaining this to a shill, have you boss come here so that I can explain this to him instead.
Stop calling everyone you disagree with a shill.
Good grief. That makes no sense.
That means you've made up your accusation about this company.
If by some miracle, they decide to come here and talk to you, it won't be because of me. A random person.
Also, a shill can't call their boss. That's not how it works. Sigh.
I've spent enough time being nice to you. I'm leaving this discussion.
Have a good day literally breaking federal and international laws, and basically violating the Geneva Convention under Cruel and Unusual Torture.
Also, Git Gud or something. I don't know.
Why are you still posting shill? I told you to get your boss.
I'm not gonna even pretend to be a copyright expert, but my assumption is still that since its not a 1:1 copy, it would fall under a parody and as a result fair use.
Wish I could see the picture again, but like I before said, they took it down. I check the Internet archive, but it doesn't seem to keep listing of Steam pages,
