Month 3 Hell Journey Attribute Deficit-- Normal, or am I screwed??

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if it's normal to be about 20 attribute levels down against the enemy teams by Month 3. Most of their athletes have 60 in every stat, but I only have about 40-50. My athletes have amazing traits, but it's incredibly hard to win because the harass rate is so low and we miss so many attacks during fights.

I think I lost 1 match but I have won everything else so far. I do Intensive Training for attributes almost every week, and I've tried to get as many routine training blocks as possible. I hired a Waiter sub as soon as possible to further juice training. Of course, I'm doing Scrims as well. I would say that my play style has been "maximize attribute gain" to the detriment of many other things, and yet I'm still playing with a huge deficit. Athletes from scouting have even lower stats.

It is Hell Journey, so the scaling is set to high, and I think I can probably continue to manage close wins at about this deficit, but if it gets any higher, my save file is just going to be bricked. Did I do something wrong, or is this normal?

Thats normal. After passing league, enemy teams will get a way better stats than our.

Your save isn't bricked. You just might need to demote this season. Then you will be back with stronger players in two seasons. Your team will constantly get stronger even if you are in a lower level. And you will start to hit your attribute caps after a few seasons. The AI teams have caps too, so at that point they can't be outscalling you anymore.

Actually, I was assuming you were in league 1. I don't know if you can demote from League 2..? I'm playing Hell, and as I remember league 2 wasn't too difficult - attributes on AI teams were similar. Its only when you jump to league 1 that you get the first big delta. And then you can always drop to league 2 in the worst case and easily sweep the league.

Also, the scouted guys get pretty good pretty fast. Remember that you can recruit the players other teams find - you don't need to find your own. I'm so saturated with coins right now I'm throwing away 20 point coins every week...

Thanks everyone. It might have just been an outlier. I'm still making good progress, at the playoffs now. Wish me luck! :) I love this game
