After season draft tips

After the season you gain gold based on sponsors and fans. These can be used to purchase new players, veteran players or underage stars which will join you after training a season or 2. This os a very confusing part of the game so wanted to help out/ger advice from others.

The order of operations is, noobs, pros, underage stars, then selling your team and actually paying your negotiqted prices. Of note you can choose not to pay for someone at the end and just have them as an option. The fact that noobs go before pros and pros have a chance to join or not is really not a great design.

You can have up to 7 team memebers meaning you can have 2 characters used for things like training partners or the blanks on a dodge training. If you sell off a slot and have no fill at the end of a draft you will be given a not great, but free player in that slot. For example. My team was around 270 skill, I sold off top, jungle, and support for a support and jungle. I was given a 240 top with only veteran and below heros. Not great, but they were free. This allpwed me to buy 2 330+ pros and a backup character.

The game saves after each window rookie, vet, rising stars so I suggest making a backup before beginning negotiations the first time. It is super confusing and the pool of players decreases after each draft round.

Rising stars can be sold when they become players to give you more money to work with in later drafts. So pick up as many as your budget allows

Veterans if they have much better stats than your team have a chance to join. The chance shown is their base chance. You can boast about 1 of your exploits to boost this chance with bigger boasts being worth up to 20% when the chance is rolled, sadly it does not tell which boast is worth the most %. Since the game saves so often during the draft this is why I say back up your save file, you might lose all these rolls.

Hope it helps. Took me until the third round to understand enough to win my players ended up missing out on some vets I wanted and ended with a mediocre but free player. If I did again would nake sure I got 7 even of extra was crappy so I could train them up to sell next season.

Left over funds give you minor coaching points. Not worth holdind onto in my opinion.
