what if you don't know how to play MOBAs?

Never really got into or understood them. Game LOOKS nice and I enjoy deckbuilders. Seems to have an interesting theme. But, yeah....

Honestly understanding moba's helps but it's not necessary at all you'll catch on very quickly so long as you know the basics of push down there towers = win game and even that isn't really necessary to know since the "players" you manage do everything on there own you just choose which cards to play. No knowledge of mobas in particular is needed to know that if all your hero's are low on health and the enemy has all full health bars it's probably not a good idea to take that dragon fight, better to live and fight later in the game when it's more advantageous to you or when you can use your cards to get an advantage.

You should probably know about the general "three lanes, farm mobs, gank, kill dragon, kill nexus" flow of the game, but you don't actually need to know more than that to play at normal difficulty. You'll learn more about the intricacies through that. Higher difficulties probably need better understanding of MOBA's lane roles, maybe? Or you might even be able to cover that by understanding deck builders better.

Hell mode probably needs a good understanding of MOBA's details. But I don't play MOBA's at all, I've just watched a lot of pro League of Legends, and that taught me everything I needed to really get into this game.
