Also just finished the Maria route and I cried tears of happiness and sadness. Though I wish Ria could live a normal life, as long as she lives a happy life with Ouro I'm happy.
Considering there is the hidden secret end which shows a single CG of Ria's marriage, which does not happen in the base game, the fan disk was intentional from the very start.
Seems like the writers took a leaf out of Key's book, the whole story reeks of Key's storytelling, like the comical and light-hearted first part, then the tragedy, and finally the time bending powers which fixes it. Not that I am complaining though, I am quite fond of Key's releases.
Although I do think taking Ayaka, Mina and the real true end out of the base game and slapping it onto a fan disk was a terrible consumer decision (or an excellent one, if you look at it from a monetary perspective).
At the end Ouro says "Oh yeah. Thank you for your hair." and Silvie says "It's fine. I was planning on giving her a new one before she got married. You can chalk it up to a "ceremonious occasion." Which means they got married and that CG was just a hidden CG to make people even more depressed that she didn't live (jk). But yeah the CG wasn't for the fan disk at all, just a hidden CG of Ria and Ouro in one of their happiest moments in the time they had left together fulfilling a dream they wouldn't be able to do later on with the little time Ria has left. (Cried when I saw it)
Ughh, don't make me remember it. At first I thought it was an alternative CG which then they used for the FD. And that in her route, they didn't get to marry. I thought Ria had died while she was seeing the "golden time" with Ichi. The reason being because on the wedding she had long hair, but when she died, she had her hair short.
That's what I forced myself to believe, but after I thought it through... Big F, that dealt the killing blow for me. It's too sad.
Same here. Even if it was forced, stupid, didn't make sense, or whatever. I'm happy she got a happy ending in the end. And even if it's a "fake" ending, I'll consider it canon.
Same here. Usually I hate when they kill a waifu, and even more if it's due to a terminal illness. But I think they did a good job in writing this one. They didn't make the characters utterly stupid, like they usually do.
What really makes me 'mad', to put it in some way, is that WTF? The game is supposed to be happy... You can't give me 4 happy routes and then end it like that... I realized that Ria had an illness while I was playing those 4 routes, so when I went for her route, I thought to myself: "Well, all the routes had happy endings. I suppose for this one, they'll somehow manage to cure her ilness" right? That's what one would expect in this case. That was my biggest mistake. It took me somewhat by surprise
They should have put the Maria route in the original game and leave the fan disk for Ayaka, Mina, and the after stories of the original routes (I would have liked to see how Ouro's and Ria's lives were after she survived). I have a feeling if the Maria route wasn't in the FD and was with the original (or didn't exist at all) then there would actually be people that wouldn't buy it cause there are probably a lot of people that just wanted to see Ria live, like me (played the FD mainly for that).
fand disk is pretty horrible with all magical nonsense crap and ruins original ending, themes and whole idea so badly
only worth reading for common route and ayaka/mina routes
industry is in this state because of people like you
If you don't like it it's fine, but ¿Why do you feel the need to attack the people who don't feel the same way as you? Everyone has their own opinion. And, ¿In what way does saying what we rather have affect the industry? Or rather, ¿What are you referring to when you say "industry is in this state because of people like you"?
