I don't think the game was meant to allow narration or protag lines to be favorited since that button is missing in the backlog for those lines. I'm guessing the fact that you can still press the favorite button from the normal overlay was an oversight.

Fixed it or at least one of these issues.

TL;DR: Turn of the steam cloud for the title, move the files from the remote game save folder of steam to yuzusofts roaming folder in AppData, and delete -maybe backup- all data_voice_x_x.jpg that have more than one actor on it or no corresponding data_voiceface.png.

In my case, the game is missing a file it forgot to create while saving a voice line as a favorite. I looked into the krkr.console.log that the game dumps on an error inside the appdata/roaming/yuzusoft/riddlejoker folder. My last line before the trace is: %3=(string)"Mayu,Chisaki" %4=(string)"" %5=(string)"茉優・千咲" %6=(void)

I later noticed that for one of the data_voice.jpg a corresponding data_voiceface.png is missing in the games remote folder in steam. In my case, the game missed to create a fata_voiceface for that voice line, probably because there was more than one actor on screen. The fix was; deleting the lonely data_voice.jpg after moving the files out of the remote storage to the AppData folder and turning of cloud sync. I do have an empty voice line slot now that the game those not wanna fill, but at the very least it loads the menu.

If anyone needs a more novice step by step description of what I did, feel free to ask.

I have another issue I can't save a file anymore, I can open the save menu but can't save for some reason however I can quick save does anyone have the same issue as mine?

As far as it goes for me, the game did run a small patch today, and I tried to favor a multi-actor line and it worked. so the issue no longer exists, but it won't fix old ones that are already broke.

Did you check in your "C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Yuzusoft\RiddleJoker". The game can store directly to this location outside of the cloud. Maybe CloudSync already was turned off for you.

I did not encounter this. If the hotfix didn't solve your problem it may be a good idea to look at the error in the console log file if the problem even throws an error. You also can find it in the "C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Yuzusoft\RiddleJoker" folder. The file is named "krkr.console.log". Then best is to forward that issue to the NekoNyan support so they can fix it if there is anything there to send. https://nekonyansoft.com/contact

I'm currently playing Riddle Joker, and I have this issue. I saved a voice-line spoken by 2 characters at once, and now I can't access the Extra menu. However, the two folders with the save files look like this:

As a result, I don't seem to have the file format you describe, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to fix the issue.
Do you have any clue?
