Meg Barrel felyne - is it bugged? Monsterpedia entry 201 is still locked

As the tile says - I have found one in elder`s lair first area behind azure rathlos and pink rathian, run on it, used mega barrel bomb and freed the cat. Entry is still locked. The only creature left to complete monsterpedia.

Game have two versions of that enemies: LR and HR.

No, youtube videos show that defeatig any mega barel felyne unlocks in`t entry in monsterpedia. I defeated one (and eventually one more on the same place) and can see name "mega barrel felyne", but page 201 is still lcoked and, as ususal, requre to defeat monster. Barrel felynes were easy - one from subquest in lamoure during story. But this one is probably bugged.

LR have their names in white text while HR have names in red text, make sure you're finding the right one.

I found ones with red names in elder`s lair. Where to find ones with white name?

I have found low-rank ones (group of 3) on hakolo island eastern part. Definately was a bug, I can see their names, defeat them, but entry was locked through a few minutes more. But indeed, people answereв here are right - both HR and LR were required to unlock entry.

Search around Pomore Garden from the air and fly close to the ground. They tend to spawn there quite a bit. As there's no visual difference between normals and greats, you'll just have to start a fight with them and find out.

I figured out. The odd thing was that I had to fight both low-rank and high-rank mega barrel felynes to unlock entry.
