Is it possible to disband party members?
I would like to battle on my own, I wouldn't like to count on the help of NPCs. Right now, I'm heading to fight Pukei-Pukei. Am I too far from the part I can start leaving NPCs behind? (if that's ever possible, of course)

You're forced to use a buddy during most of the story. But they do get better, particularly when they're hunters rather than riders.

The problem is... I always root for monsters to resist their attacks because, well, I want to play the game. I feel having NPCs around doesn't really tell me how good I'm getting at the game or if my choices/strategies are really effective. When I see they triggering Double Attack, I get sad because that means the battle will be over too soon :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

It only becomes possible to leave party members behind once you beat the game's story.
You'll be able to dismiss all battle partners and Ena, but Navirou will always stay with you.

Not sure whats with devs and "cute" mascot characters that are ALWAYS with and are annoying as hell to players. Haven't they learned from Navi and Morgana? No one wants these turds.

Man, I can't wait that long! How do I beat the game before playing the game? :steamfacepalm: I can't believe it that I will spend the entirety of the game with a companion. If only I could attack them, make them faint and play on my own... That would be awesome.

Well, thank you for solving my doubt, everyone! Happy Friday!

I'm fine about Navirou, he's nice. Thing is that I'd like some tight disadvantage at times and learn the game on my own, but ok, game is great.

Navirou speaks when our PC can't, so he's kinda our "voice" in the game. A really annoying one... I heard it once in English and immediately switched to JP voices because he's more tolerable.

Just like Raverto. His dude-bro English voice is a turn-off. It's not the fault of the voice actor, it's just odd voice direction. His JP VA is very respectable.
