I love this game, but the lack of level up moves just more or less makes every monster the same in every way except stats. Stat sticks basically. Level up moves would change that, since those moves could be something really good for the build you're going for on a specific monster. To make it better, have those moves also change elements if you changed the element of your monster. That way, they'll always be useful.
Element changing is self explanatory, it was just a fun feature and really gave you the freedom to make whatever you want like a mad scientist. You want an ice Tigrex or thunder Deviljho? Done. You want a dragon elemental Aptonoth that slays Fatalis for a living? Done.
Okay here is hoping then :-)
The first two games weren't perfect but were still really good and also still have plenty of room for a lot more to be added and fleshed out. There's even plenty of fan-favorite and later Gen Monsters that still can be added (And ones that Capcom NEEDS to make into MONSTIES that are ALREADY in the game) and even some more weapon types.
Capcom did put out a feedback survey not long ago for the games so I'd just say wait until Wilds comes out.
Ditching MHS1 and switching over to MHS2 yesterday I noticed how polished the series feels with its second iteration already. It's not just a cute Monster-Catcher game, now it is also a solid turn-based game on top.
The cool thing is that just like Persona and ATLUS, Capcom has the luxury to have a wide library of old monsters to choose from and they could also make use of the latest models from their mainline series (and in doing so promote them). Since my diagnosis I thought I would have to skip games like MH which I grew to love over the years but this series already gives me SO MUCH joy. I can easily see myself playing the games as much as mainline MH games.
Yeah, plus it would give plenty of room for the older gens who haven't appeared in recent titles a chance to be used on top of adding crossover content with current or recently released MH games. Heck look at 2, which has both of World's flagships in it on top of some other World monsters appearing. Stories 3 might do the same with Magnamalo and Malzeno from Rise and we might see Wilds collab content get added in an update in the form of its Flagship(s) or Seikrets.
That's very true :-O
