Wow, really? It didn't say a word about Switch exclusivity in the news. I thought it'd be the same as it was with Trials of Mana game. Though yeah, thanks to that demo full version got cracked early. Are they afraid to release demo on PC because of this I wonder.
Well at least I still can be excited because of all those new screenshots in the gallery, and especially Palamute. Palamute reminds me of Repede from Tails of Vesperia, one of my favorite dog characters in videogames (also fan of Ammy, Nanaki, Chibiterasu, Blanca). And so many cool monsties, a lot of them look like dragons! This game seems to be the best Pokemon-type game PC ever had so far.

I honestly dont know Draggy, but i guess it's to be expected. Capcom loves to suck it up to Nintendo, the og game was on the 3ds, and they didnt even port all the content from Japan because they thought the effort wasnt worth it. Even tho they literally owed us that. Also im fairly certain someone borked the dates, because look at this lmao

at least it says that you can transfer the data to the steam version, which does say that we are getting a trial version. However, what the hell with the dates? something seems off lol, I hope we get the demo on the 25th as well.

Same thing happened to multiple games such as Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Dragon Quest XI S - both had Denuvo and a demo 2 weeks before the full game, there weren't Cracked but as Draggy said Trails of mana had..

I hope to see a demo on the 25th and at least Capcom say wth is wrong with that page lol

I'd say that it's smart for them to do so. It sucks that you can't try it out before release on PC, but there will always be that one guy who data mines the demo otherwise. They most likely want to avoid that, so they were left with very little choice but to delay it until the release date.

If you want to blame anyone for not being able to try it out before 9th of July, blame the data miners.

But won't they still be able to datamine the demo and turn it into full version after release? If I remember that's what happened to Trial of Mana. As for Switch it's emulated anyway, so most games for Switch are playable on PC.
Anyway, another obvious downside to this news is that ppl will be able to play the demo on Switch and then preorder the game and receive those exclusive preoder bonuses. While ppl on PC won't be able to do that after trying the demo.

Palamute sounds interesting... Though I still remember how useless speed types were in story mode (They were good but only against other riders... mostly because they could take down the enemy rider before anyone else got to act). I hope they fixed it up.
