Herbivore Material +

I’m trying to upgrade the duramboros sns and its telling me i need ??? under herbivore material +

Where do I get this hidden material? Do I have to kill a high rank aptonoth or something? Does that even exist?

Also another question I have is since devs were too lazy to give silverwind any weapons and ergo an sns, I’m stuck upgrading this duramboros sns. Is there another raw sns I can upgrade to that isn’t duramboros that looks better?

Its Herbivore bone.... just farm the high bone dense areas. I don't remember exactly where I picked it up but I had enough for the updates. So I'm guessing its a rare bone item pickup from open map and dens.

If you've done the sidequests for deviant monsters, you should have mats for bloodbath diablos sns. Quest starts in Lulucion from the NPC Clerk, next to the quest board.

From his post, I think OP needs the herbivore materials+ for some upgrades, not for initial crafting. I may be wrong.

EDIT: just checked its for Dendrotomy level 2 upgrade, not for crafting. The OP wants to upgrade so he needs to farm the herbivore material+ itself.

Yeah I was looking to upgrade it not craft. I was just wondering if there’s another option besides upgrading the duramboros sns and looks like there’s a bloodbath sns. I don’t have it yet because I haven’t done the bloodbath quest yet I just turned in the grimclaw one and am on the bloodbath one now.

I’ll probably just make the bloodbath sns.

IMO your best bet is to get in non-rare HR Dens in zones which usually have a lot of herbivores (i.e. the zone just outside Mahana village) and just steamroll any Aptonoth and the like you may find in there.
