30 FPS is awesome!

I know playing on PC has made you lazy and demanding, but 30 FPS in this amazing game gives this game an amazing experience. Personally, I play on Switch myself (despite a very good PC) because I can afford it and I don't mind 30 FPS - you shouldn't either ;-)

I have a PC that can probably run the game at 165 fps that my monitor is capable of, but I still bought it for the Switch because I wanted to play the game in handheld mode. The game still has medals (Steam achievements are pointless because of SAM). The entire reason I have a Switch is so that I can game without being tethered to the PC.

There's the misconception that all PC gamers refuse to play games below 30fps. It honestly doesn't matter to me. I still can play Star Fox, and that runs at 15 fps.

Are you playing docked or handheld? My experience is much better in handheld mode.

Loads of Switch games run better In handheld mode compared to docked, probably because of the lower resolution, some games even look considerably better because of the small screen.

The switch version is a joke i was even a little sad that they did release the Pc version at the same time if they didnt i would probably bought the switch version.

Monster hunter stories 2 is really bad optimized there are a few games that looks better and play better on the switch than this game.

i am honestly sad about the sate of this game on the switch

I was initially torn between the two versions, and besides, there are only two large discussion forums for MHS2: here and on Reddit. I’m enjoying the game and love reading about it. It is the same game, regardless of the platform. Very few threads here are platform-specific.
