PS5 controller support?

I use my ps5 controller for pretty much everything I use on steam and it works fine but I can't seem to be able to use it here, it shows in the controller options like it was a PS4 controller but I can't input anything on it. Any suggestions?

Having the same issue. Ps4 controller works just fine, but ps5 controller does not respond at all, wired or wireless still won't work. No idea what's wrong.

The guy said he uses his controller for everything on Steam, yet you give him a link to howw to use it on PC. Oof.

Okay so messing around with it for a couple minutes, I found out that the game was trying to use a wireless SNES controller I never hooked up to steam that I use for older games. Make sure in your devices you only have your PS5 controller connected, also in the controller configurations in Big Picture, make sure it's the only controller connected to Steam.

I took out the SNES wireless USB and it started working just fine, could be the same issue for you if you got multiple controllers.

I managed to play it with my PS5 controller, I switch to big picture mode and it works fine

Just buy the Adapter
i use 8Bit and my PS5 Controller works with everything
Except PS4 Console OOF

Having the same issue games keeps sayinging there no controller to connect to even tried using a Xbox controller and still nothing. My ps5 controller usually auto connects to everything.

what are you smoking, it doesnt have the ps icons in the game.

u gotta enable steam input , it works fine, im using it to play
