It's unplayable. Constant crashes and the only work around seems to be setting the game to use only one core. Even this doesn't work for me. This is the only game I've not been able to get working.

Same here tried all of recommendations and still this game will not work. New clean install of win 8.1 64 nvidia 870 i7 16 gb ssd.

Did the dx install, dotnet processor affinity etc still no go.

It worked fine for me win 7 64 bit . Have only tested it on my laptop with 560m and not the desktop but no problems with running the game. Did you set all options to default in graphics driver as sometimes that can help.

Running it flawlessly in Win 10, but when there's more than three dialogue options I can't select the dialogue choice in the lower right corner. It's now become a game breaking bug near the end of the game, because the dialogue option you have to choose has the correct answer at the lower right corner. If this bug was gone I would replay this game, it's otherwise great, but now I'm just gonna watch the ending on youtube.

I think this game is boring. It's a nice game, has merit and all, but gee there's a lot of talking.

That's a pretty sweeping statement considering small things can impact a games stability. For how cheap this game is right now, if you want to check it out, it's not much of a risk and it will probably play fine and won't require a high end system to play it. My crappy laptop will play this game.

I can play it very well in Win10 both with an old INTEL PENTIUM and INTEL COR I5 ..so perhaps you might have to fix things in your computer.
Well the story in the game is nice but the artwork look too crappy or too fantasy it should look more traditional same as ''Titan Quest'' or ''Assassin Creed Odyssey'' anyway the combat in the game is not bad at all the combat is very good , so this game i give 6/10 .

The game deserves an Honorable 'REMAKE'

Back then they could have done more with the game but maybe due to budget, but this game deserves open world, and a second chance.

Oh yeah I heard about EA buying codemasters. I think since this game sold badly they won't really bother to update it nor do a sequel. I guess they'll focus more on their racing games.
