I'm sad to admit this, but BHVR listened to their player base on Dead by Daylight. They nerfed just about every good perk / character and lost more than half of their active community base within a few patches.
Breakers had a HUGE opening and then released a survey. Based off said survey, people gave their opinions and.... unfortunately.... they ARE listening to their active community base.... which in the end will eventually kill off the game; hence all drastic changes and patching.
To summarize, it's NOT a good idea to listen to these entitled little brats. Just saiyan.
Pretty sure he's the easiest raider to play
You always want the solo player to feel stronger, and actually BE stronger.
The game released with data like this, with a 64% winrate for all Raiders, and that is what you should aim to have.
The reasoning is simple:
If the raider is stronger than the survivors, and wins are aplenty, then the wins that survivors do get are worth more to those survivors.
In addition, those surprising losses will fuel the raiders to learn to play better and not have it happen again.
It's about the health of the game itself; its a tried and true formula by other asymmetrical games with a "killer" and "survivors", and those who haven't followed said formula die off quickly from a lack of interest from one or both sides.
It keeps the game challenging for the teamed up players, even in a group with coordination, and not too challenging for the solo player that they feel completely frustrated.
Right now, you're not hitting that mark any more and I hope you can fix it. 50/50 means that 3.5 people are winning more often than one person. (1v7, if the odds are half, half those people are going to win all of the time, or all of the people will win half of the time.)
Actually either you are pretty dump or you cant calculate...
1 Raider and 7 Survivors = 1 + 7 = 8
1 Raider + 7 Survivors >>> 100% / 8 = 12,5% for each player that win.
BUT escaping IS NOT winning, it means you didnt lose or win.
IF that considered, the calculation change to 50% Raider, 50% Survivors.
7x 7,142857% = 50% and the raider 50% because the raider won also.
Results in 7,142857% for each that survive (Not Raider)
BUT even that mean, Raider (one) win 3x and survivor (one) win 1x
Because mostly 3-4 (3,5 survivors) die and other 3,5 survivors escape
Thats 75% (3) raider win and 3,5x 7,142857% survivor escape = 25% (1)
How 75%? Escape is 50% winrate because 1 vs 7 both sides win
CORRECT WINRATE CALCULATION:
1 Raider = 50% ... 7 Survivors = 50%
Survivors 7 x 50% = 3,5 ... 50% x 50% = 25%
50% / 7 = 7,142857% x 3,5 escaping survivors = 25%
1 Raider = 50% + (50% x 50%) == 50% + 25% = 75%<<<
1 Raider equals (50%+25%) and 3,5 Survivors (25%) = 100%
(Raider won + Survivors escaped)
Other way to calculate escaping end:
1 Raider vs 7 Survivors ... means 1 Raider is equal 7
50% = 7 ... 7 / 2 = 3,5 ... 50% / 2 = 25%
100% - 25% = 75%
One last way to understand it:
2 Points = Raider .... 2 Points = 7 Survivors
Raider gets 1 of 2 Points of the Survivors (Raider kills 3,5 Survivors)
Raider owns now 3 of 4 Points ... Survivors own 1 Point
100 / 4 = 25% ... Survivors own 1x 25% ... Raider own 3x 25% = 75%
So you think Raider should win with 75%? it should be between 40-50%
of all matchs are won by the Raider, NOT 75%!
Means 1x Raider win, 1x Survivors win or 7 of 7 escape
Right now, the raider win 75% and survivor winrate is 25%
Means 1 player win as raider 3 of 4 matchs
Meanwhile 1 survivor win 1 of 4 matchs
100% / 4 = 25% and the average sayan warrior know, 25% average survivors escape
And these survivors only win as very well coordinated team
HOW IS THE CALCULATION IF THE RAIDER DIES?
1 Raider dies = 0% win ... 7 Survivors win = 100%
1 Raider dies = 0% win ... 3,5 Survivors win = 100% / 2 = 50%
1 Raider win = 100% .... 7 of 7 Survivors die = 0%
CONCLUSION, learn first before you speak.
