try also slotting in grapple, shapeshift missile, or galactic patrol ship since it's stupidly broken currently even without instant rise (ya should have it from the dragon tier at this point anyway)
big part of why i argue this games very free to play friendly is since ya start off with grapple, shapeshift missile, charming pose, & floating device
this is already a very good build
He has over 100 hours in the game at the very least. How much more time does one need to learn this game? It's not that complicated.
He tried Grapple and Missile once and they failed him, so he considers them bad
Yes I am still not sure how things work, the missile is difficult to use for sure because I can't figure it out after trying it many times in my matches, so yes my opinion is I do not like it because I can't use it good
As for grapple I use it but the raider usually gets me halfway while I use it so I dunno
All you have done is come on here and ripped my build apart 1 time we spoke Kerby, the last big post against me you said to take item finder off and till as well, but now I can't figure out where the crates are and I am back to not getting loot, I can't keep track of crates when they change in each map
I have been after a build where I can just avoid the raider mostly if I can help it
Survivors are OP. You should never use a lot of the skills you are using. They serve no purpose for surviving or helping the team. Bargs has given you a good starting point. I also gave you a good starting point last time.
also in terms of escapes, its usually better to have a bit of distance on the raider instead of point blank, saiyan pod esp needs ya to be preemptive
That's the first mistake, don't just collect and hide, if you have to fight then fight. It's not only hide and seek, is to know when to retreat to safety and when to advance to battle, if you are only playing as a helpless victim you'll never ever improve. You need to learn when to go for the offensive, when to assist your teammates with damage, when to distract the raider to save an ally carrying dragonballs or someone who needs help. Don't think cowardly about only you surviving, you have teammates, you must learn to help them even if they don't inmediately help you back.
The default options are pretty solid, and since you have hundreds of hours you must have at least pulled a decent 4-star skill.
Have you tried flying up when transformed, then grapple to the ground and then use the change missile? Because missile is good to complement grapple, if you think of it as a sole skill of course you're gonna get shot out of it.
Once again, pair it with the missile, use both. when the raider finds you fly into the air, grapple to the ground and then use the missile to create extra distance. Don't think that only one mobility skill will save you from the raider if he is tunneling you. Grapple is amazing, missile is amazing, both are amazing skills that you can use to escape when use properly. If you really can't use any of these two properly then no skill will save you. Please don't tell me you rely on Energy Field + Instant Transmission, because that will hinder your skills and will make you get used to that combo without learning anything else.
What?! For real? You can't find a single crate without item finder? You can't be that blind, and you can't be that forgetful. At this point you should have memorized the place where crates usually spawn, and you can see the names of your allies through walls, so you should have a good idea of which crates are available and which ones were already open by teammates. If you are unable to find resources without item finder then you are hopeless. Sorry to be bold, but you are hopeless if you depend on that skill entirely.
That's the problem, you cannot avoid the raider forever, this is not hide and seek. You'll have to fight the raider eventually, you need to learn how to fight instead of living in fear the whole time.
first off, holding jump will give you upward movement, in addition to whatever direction you are currently facing while changed.
this means that you can ascend to the sky barrier REALLY fast.
the missile will fly in the direction it is currently facing, and on startup i believe that direction is determined by where you're aiming, so try to look where you want to go beforehand.
you turn quite slow, and you can aim with WASD or your Movement Stick. you can go nearly straight up or down, and holding forward will make you turn to where the camera is facing, and i recommend doing that for most of your steering.
while the transformation will end instantly when "colliding" (existing anywhere near) with a building or anything else with that destructible nature, you can usually get away with sliding off of natural walls and such without exploding as long as you are angling away from it actively (holding jump helps with this)
never, and i mean NEVER use it near a building of any kind. you will detonate instantly, and will most likely draw the attention of whatever you were trying to slip past.
Frieza's ship, Guru's house, and any other non-destructible building will not do this.
do note that if you're too close to the raider when you try to do it, and the raider is already firing at you, it will most likely instantly detonate in that scenario, so do keep that in mind.
if you somehow slip past anyway, always move at an angle away from the raider and/or try to slip around any non-destructible terrain as you're fleeing as it is quite hard to follow you that way (unless it's broly or zamasu, then there's nothing that can save you mobility-wise (unless they give up)).
if, for whatever reason, you want to punch the raider in his stupid face, bumping into the raider while changed will knock him back, but i don't know if it makes him drop dragon balls, so it's only really useful for distracting / buying time if you decide to use it offensively.
if you manually detonate it, the knockback will still occur if the raider is close enough. it's also good for getting near to start fighting if you have d-change ready.
once you finally get a hang of the controls, it's a very versatile movement option that can help with much more than escaping,
if you're using a flying character skin, you can hang out above the STM around the floating machine to hide as a last-ditch effort if you have nowhere else to go, but this won't work with non-fliers.
Use "Practice Mode" with instant cooldowns to practice anything you don't quite get, like you should with any skill you want to use.
This is basically everything I know about the skill, so feel free to review it at your leisure.
I promise you this skill is good, you just have to learn how to use it.
(using other movement skills with it is also good)
There are new maps, crates are always changed if you get the same map twice so you can't plan around it. Also sometimes a zone has a different location for where to place the damn key
I don't get how the heck I am suppose to navigate the zones, I end up having to use item finder because I am behind from others looting or I have to look at the map at like every 20 seconds just to know what the heck I am suppose to do
The game is so confusing because you can walk into a zone and if the key is placed for some reason there is loot and sometimes there is not depending on the team, so how the heck are players rushing all this, are they just aimlessly moving around or something?
As for the skills well at the moment I have tried missile and I do not understand it, the video for it shows it not moving up and down yet I can move up and down, what the heck is going on with that?
Grapple seems okay with D change but can't say I am useful with it yet, I liked zip-line more so but the problem is D change battles tend to have you float rendering the skill less situational
I am fed up with this game it keeps pushing me to Z lobbies for some reason and I have no clue why that is. Ranked is the worst and I just want fun again but if its not optimal builds and chasing for medals its other things
I hate it, wished ranked was optional
