maybe just bad luck or get blocked from many players?
I'm just waiting for the last event to drop, gonna complete the event tier and than wait for season 5. Have complete my goals for season 5. Both Z5 ranks, Dragonpass complete. All events 100%
And, tbh, don't want to waste my time in 15-20 min queues just because DUMPS ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game since season 2.
They delayed the next season by another month, which is already awful in and of itself, but there's been a large amount of connection issues, more cheaters being seen in-game, and Dimps has only given us these crummy images on Twitter that give us no answer to any of our pleas for them to fix literally anything.
Oh, but they'll still update that TP medal cash shop without a hiccup to that schedule tho.
It's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community on pc.
Post-typing footnote: I am sorry this post ended up being a wall of text lol, for those less inclined to read all of it, the TL/DR is that Dimps intentionally ruins any fun combinations of skills/passives and refuses to make the less viable skills even remotely viable, leaving only the polarizing choice between "Do I play meta or do I actively handicap my team?" and in solo que especially you need all the self-reliance you can get. This unfortunately makes the game a chore to play and unfun imo for both the Raiders that have to deal with it and the Survivors that are forced into that ultimatum.
For those who want to read my actual rant, see below.
To be fair to the people that run the same set of skills/stuns/etc, even if they are in a premade there's genuinely an extremely deficient ratio of variety-to-viability ratio. Using Kaioken Rush is just using an objectively worse Change [Missile] because they buffed Missile way back when without touching Kaioken Rush at all. Every fun combination has been deemed a "bug" and has been patched out, only for them to release the equivalent of the "bug" as a gacha skill. This leaves the meta as not only the best option, but the only option unless you're outright intentionally playing with a meme build (See the Youtuber Jupiter's most recent videos named Ineptune for an example of one such "meme build".)
Back in the Beta/Season 1, the Hovering Device (Not to be confused with the Floating Device/Jump Pad, I'm talking about the passive skill that lets you glide in the air by holding crouch that's available in the shop) this passive skill actually allowed the player to bunny-hop while toggling the Hover and have far better speed than what you'd have by normally walking on top of being able to not get the landing delay from falling a great height. Dimps deemed this as an "unintended bug" and patched it out days before releasing the Sprint passive skill into the gacha, and even though the Hovering Device was an "unintended bug", you can still look at the little preview footage of the skill in the skill select menu, and the footage shown in said preview still shows players the un-nerfed, full speed Hovering Device.
They nerfed this skill under the excuse that it was a bug only to release Sprint, a skill that literally gave players the same exact speed boost at +20.
In more recent times, we've had the Landing Delay Nullification passive get nerfed into the dirt. You may watch older videos of people using LDN in conjunction with skills like Kaioken Rush to travel extreme distances in a very short time period, or people using the Jump Pad in conjunction with their transformation to travel very far, and move extremely fast while transformed because LDN triggered the speed buff on landing, which affected transformed movement speed as well.
They removed all of these quirky interactions with LDN, deeming them "bugs". And in terms of the LDN super-boosting other movement skills like Missile and Kaioken Rush? Fair enough, I can see where that was unintentional. But getting rid of the speed boost while transformed? Nah, they only nerfed that because they planned on releasing the "Trained by an Angel" passive down the line, yet another passive that did the same exact thing (if not better because unlike the LDN speed boost this one's always active while transformed) in the gacha.
The only skill they've actually buffed into being somewhat useful was the Zipline device, but unfortunately it's still outdone by the grappling hook simply because Zipline has too long of a cooldown and too few situational uses for the team to be used as a fixed mobility tool that the Raider can destroy, when you can just throw out your grapple and move just as fast with more freedom of movement for a negligible cooldown increase, and it's evident in the fact that nobody uses it anymore.
Every single stun, both projectile and AOE, have been over-buffed to all hells. It's mainly the blazing-fast cooldowns that make them insufferable to deal with because even one person running Krillin's Shoe, Bansho Fan, Go-Go-Gum, and a Jump Pad can harass you while you destroy the STM and delay your progress for 30 seconds all while they only have a 45 second cooldown on their highest-CD skill. With the way stun resistance works, the moment a Raider uses their evasive to get out of the stun, their immunity gets ripped away from them, which is absolutely stupid. This means it's actually detrimental to the Raider for them to use their CC-Break to get out of being stunned, because it just means the next 5 stuns they take will have their FULL DURATION applied, instead of having a far shorter stun time.
Many skills need overhauled or outright reworked in order for them to be viable in any capacity, let alone be considered to even pick compared to the meta skills we see now (stuns are what make up the meta atm, mainly). Atm you can just take 3 stuns, one mobility move, and then rely on Immortal Champion to give you that one free escape if you happen to get caught before and during STM defense.
