For those Whining about Camping

Early kills are the only way to not get stunned 5 million times at STM with 7 people up. Ranked only makes these annoying cancer teams happen more often. Blame the ♥♥♥♥ game mechanics for having minimal counter play to getting free of stuns.

I don't blame raiders for camping, this update rewards them highly for it.
I don't blame the survivors for teaming, this update rewards them highly for it.

The devs changed the nature of the game, unintentionally, like everything they do.

I'll continue sticking to the solo-queue survivor-only life, and see what rank my choices land me in (rewards-wise). Remember rank points are based on a flawed rating system that thinks that:

1) Every player must play exactly the same way regardless of their strengths and weaknesses. Are you a great fighter? Doesn't matter, fight only this much and then go find keys and walk a long way! Are you a great key finder? Doesn't matter, do only two keys and then go fight. Sure, you lived and beat the raider... too bad you didn't walk far enough or set enough keys. Have the key radar? Find only two or you are not a great player!

2) Thinks raiders have to travel a certain length each match to be considered great. You won in only o few minutes? Too bad, why can't you be like Raider Joey over there, look how far he traveled! Yeah, he lost as raider... but he got a better score than you!

It's like those lame schools teaching to the test. Does not matter that the students aren't going to learn, as long as they get that test's answers right to make the school look good!

The rating score system is a quick and dirty thing a guy came up with, and they are actually building other systems on top of it lol. If he had made it so that you can only get platinum if you spun around 19 times each match and spammed 29 emotes, everyone would be doing that every match and then brag about how good a player they are lol it's so dumb.

I think a lot of players will stop caring about rank after this season, once they realize what a dumb thing it's based on and that their reward item is not cool enough to wear, and that the tickets they got gave them Yamcha and Kid Trunks repeats. Instead of having fun and playing however you want.

Those of us who see each other a lot know who is good and who is better. It is never said, but we all look at the team names and have reactions to the names. It's never based on rank or level, we remember those names we consistently see playing well or poorly.

That's the real rank here: "how do good players react when they see your name?" There is even a way to know what they think of you: when you go down, who are the player(s) who come revive you? There is no higher badge of honor here than when I see the name_of_a_player_I_respect coming to revive me. But I guess it only really works for solo-queuers, since premades talk to each other for revives. That's another reason solo queue is life, that's the true game.

Perfect example my last match:
3 teammates dead.
I go down, I think fighting the raider.
A premade of well-respected names are the other ones still alive.
They see I have like 20 seconds to live.
One comes to revive me promptly, but they realize that if I die, the escape pods come out.
He was almost done reviving me, but stops.
Gives me the Goku teleporting stamp.
I die.
They get out.

That tells me my rank, and it could not be clearer even if I were listening to their discord. They decide to let me die to get out and then:

Real Rank Z5: 2 of them or more send stamps, at least one stamp is Trunks kneeling.
Real Rank Z4: The one who stopped reviving me sends Trunks kneeling and Goku "bye".
Real Rank Z3: The one who stopped reviving me sends Goku "bye" stamp. [He did this].
Real Rank Z2: The one who stopped reviving me just leaves.
Real Rank Z1: They came but not promptly, then stopped, and just left.
Real Rank S5: None of them came to revive me before they realized they could leave.
Real Rank S4: None of them would have come to revive me even if most people were still alive, unless they were right next to me already.
... all the way down to not reviving me even if everyone is alive and they were standing right next to me and the only category below that is the same but celebrating as I die.

That tells me I'm Real Rank Z3, but I'm a chunk over level 100, so there's a lot of room to grow still.
