Vegeta's Nappa assist needs a nerf to its hitbox.
Title. There's no reason you should be running away from it the whole time, be out of the visuals for the explosion radius, pre-emptively dodge just to be sure, and still get caught because of how long the hitbox lingers and how big the hitbox is.

Now for a salty side-rant. View at your own discretion.

The only thing I can think is that they intentionally made it that large to make Vegeta as PTW as possible. Guaranteed LVL3 no matter what situation he winds up in. Every stage he's at completely counters afterimage (Saibamen: Instant death in one hit. Nappa: Deals all his damage in one hit. Vegeta: Has a vanish attack at the end of his melee, nullifying ANY punish other Raiders would have to deal with. Great ape: Deals all its damage in one hit, on top of STOMP.), his Ki Blasts hitboxes are stupid enough and spammable enough to catch bikes with ease past LVL1 when the other 3 Raiders need to be both well-positioned and lucky to even DREAM of catching a bike, Saibamen Acid while Nappa is literally a superior Go-Go Gum in every way.

Don't get me started on how Great Ape might as well have an ESP with how big his lock-on range is, on top of being the only Raider able to one-shot a LVL4 Survivor from max HP with a nigh-undodgeable attack. Stuns don't even work on him half the time anyways when they're supposed to be what allow you to even take action against him.

I get it, Survivors have all these cool gadgets that make it really hard for a Raider to catch them, but HEY! Why does Vegeta get to be the only Raider equip to deal with these things properly? Why have Cell and Buu been left completely in the dust to lose before they even get a chance? Frieza's an exception to this rule because Bamco worship him and gave him hitscan at literally every stage of his play. Bro is basically guaranteed LVL3 unless Survivors get lucky and jump him instantly, but even Frieza has been ousted, because now Vegeta has the greatest comeback mechanic in LITERALLY NOT DYING UNTIL VEGETA.

Too long didn't read, plus skill issue plus.

In all seriousness a lot of Vegeta's moves need visual fixes and probably a defense nerf to his tail as a great ape.

Oh hey, look, the winrate statistics were posted in lea of an update that's coming.

https://en.bandainamcoent.eu/dragon-ball/news/dragon-ball-the-breakers-season-2-results-report?utm_source=SM_Official&utm_medium=official_post&utm_campaign=DBTB-Season2-Report

Can't wait for them to do nothing about the fact that Vegeta's and Frieza's winrates blow Cell and Buu's out of the water. Also, Buu's winrates are EXTREMELY misleading and should be MUCH MUCH lower than what they show. They don't count the 50% of the matches that get "invalidated" when you stomp Spopovich into the dirt 3 minutes in. :]

Proves they don't listen to fans/feedback, especially with busted Energy Field, Super Electric Strike and SBC

Apparently you didn't read the words in the link enough to fully understand what's coming, so let me be plain and quote their words directly.

"Since one month from Season 2, Raiders victory rate is 57% and Survivors survival rate is around 48%.

These numbers have remained consistent so far this season.

On the other hand, we have observed that Survivors have a tendency to select certain skills, so we plan to adjust various parameters on existing skills in addition to adjusting Raider abilities.

We are carefully considering how to implement these changes in a way that will allow Survivors more flexibility when choosing skills and coming up with strategy in the battle."

These "tweaks" are just a fancy way of saying that Survivors are about to get hit with the biggest nerf of their lives and that Raiders are gonna get buffed. They listen, they are just really, REALLY bad at telling us ANYTHING until the changes are right in our faces and we analyze them and make our own patchnotes before they even announce any official ones. Breakers suffers the same lack of communication that Xenoverse 2 does in terms of content drops and updates. That's just the Bamco way.

You don't even got to read all of it, just the top bit for the main reason.

And what the hell do you mean "Worst assist"? If you have Nappa's assist during the STM phase and use it properly the Survivors basically can't touch the STM without suffering their shields breaking or going down. Even if they're changed, it forces them away from it and you can catch them while they aren't able to fly around it for protection from your attacks. It hits through the STM, when the devs have basically said "We don't want things going through the STM" by making stuns like Solar Flare and Charming Pose not go through it, as well as every other Super Attack/Assist not going through it.

Why would that upset me? That's not showing the deceptively large hitbox I'm talking about. The Survivor in that clip made a bad play for using their barrier like that, on top of not using their other tools fast enough for the barrier to protect them. If you get caught after trying to use the barrier-bike combo, that's a mega skill issue.
