How bad is the Gacha?
Been thinking of getting this game but I am wondering how bad is the Gacha? Can everything be earned in game still or?

1% rates and guarantee pools don’t exactly guarantee actually useful skills. It takes 150,000 zeni for a 10-pull that can get you a guarantee pull but unless you’re playing optimally and earning typically 4,000 zeni a match you won’t be doing a 10-pull for at least 40 games or more.

This isn’t accounting for skills bought in the shop that cost about 8,000 zeni or clothes which run at an upwards bound of 24,000 zeni for a single piece of clothing. Then there are TP which you barely earn playing and leveling up, and the FTP TP runs out the moment you hit Lv cap.

The best abilities you’ll want are highly coveted skills like Energy Field, Instant Transmission, things that basically ensure escape if a Raider finds you. Even lower tier skills like Vehicle Speed Boost are practically necessary, as Bulma’s Bike is as important an active skill as Grappling Hook.

As a new player you should play as Bulma entirely for access to Bike until you can level the skill to 10 and play as your created character. Skills require they be Lv10 or that you have the associated character who owns the skill set as a Transphere in order to use it. To level up skills you have to spend a currency you only get in significant amounts through doing Gatcha pulls and getting duplicates of things you already pulled.

I used b-Bike until i was skilled enough to not need it. but yes i agree for newcomers.

Bulma is at least a good starting pick having a stun and escape move packaged with her skin right off the bat. Oolong can still be detected with Raider skills like ki detection with his hiding Change skill and the rocket Change while giving great distance isn’t as much of an amazing utility as bike.

Do you like being kicked in the balls and paying them to do so?

Well, there you go.

The gacha is truly, truly awful. Spent 2 days grinding money to get a guaranteed new skill, only to pull something completely useless in the section advertising the new Super Saiyan transpheres.

In S1 it was irredeemable garbage. S2 has a 'featured pool' for 10-pulls which is a vast improvement, but still no true pity. So, could be (was) worse, but could certainly be better.

Can take 4 days to grind out enough zeni from matches to do a 10 pull, you can either get complete garbage or actually something new from it then back to grinding and most good skills are locked behind gacha

The Gacha is super ♥♥♥♥.
I mean, the gacha would have been ok...if you could get Zennies super easily (10 000 per match even if you lose would be cool I mean)

But no...no, the gacha is even trashier than Dragon Ball Legends. And that's saying much.
