Everyone seems to forget that Frieza is still unquestionably the strongest though. Hitscan beams, AOE explosions on said hitscan beams, ridiculously large hitboxes on the blasts that aren't hitscan, two minions that NEVER go away, obscene super damage, obscene evasive damage, free change for the survivors playing too well, ranged finishers that are still obscenely fast, there's a LOT of things to unpack with Frieza that other Raiders don't have access to. When I've gotten caught by Vegeta, it's because my positioning was bad and I outright made a bad call. Nappa's melee is OBSCENELY STRONG, but at the same time, it's a melee attack, and can be avoided simply by running away, which you're better off doing to delay Vegeta's arrival for as long as possible anyways. Killing Nappa does nothing but make the Raider stronger earlier.
When I get caught by Frieza? It's usually something absolutely stupid like getting hit through a wall due to the AOE, the hitscans, etc. Frieza is the only character that is able to catch me after I grapple and bike away due to the hitscans insta-hitting me from 200 units away. The patch notes for Season 2 expressly said that Frieza's LVL2 super, Evil Explosion, was fixed so it WOULD NOT go through walls, yet here I am, hiding in a cave when suddenly I see the visuals for the explosion, and get blown up through the wall because the explosion appears ON TOP of you through EVERYTHING.
Also, remember that right now we're dealing with a WEAKER Vegeta then we should be. Nappa's passive "This soil is perfect for some Saibamen" is actually broken and doesn't work at the moment. You're supposed to be able to get change for the Saibamen skill if you survive the LVL1 phase, but it's currently broken and doesn't give any change. So yeah.
So enjoy those Vegeta raiders, they are here to stay.
