Since consoles are effectively running their own independent operating systems, the same game usually ends up being coded differently for each console it's on, so I'd imagine that adding in cross-console interactivity would likely add at least a few months of extra development time just to add it in.
Granted, a lot of my argument assumes that implementing crossplay is more complicated than just pressing a single button
Since when Shinobi Stirkers have crossplay ?
Shinobi Strikers do not have crossplay as far as I know And there are not many people who are playing this. Back in the day where it was new there was on steam maybe 300 people playing this. The peak I mentioned few years after that was 1000 or something like this.
