Does anybody know if the second installment will be available on Steam? I can see it is on Patreon but I would much prefer it being available here on Steam.

I imagine it will be.
They are collecting Patreon money during its development ($9 per month if you're mad enough to pay that) and I'm sure when it's in a finished state, it will be put up on Steam to earn even more money.
