Yeah!!! I loved this feature in some of my games I've played, and I love to see it in Baldi's Basics.
Thanks so much for the updates. Love this game so much, it means a lot to me.
I'll keep an eye on feedback and balance it accordingly. To me it's a risk/reward feature for if you really don't feel like playing a minigame. Despite how happy I am with the minigames now, I don't want to force players to play them if they don't want to. So you can give Johnny the bus pass at the risk of not getting the items you'd like. If players feel like this tends to give out powerful items so frequently that it renders the minigames pointless, I'll tweak it!
Where's the skill in that? Personally I think there's gotta be a bigger penalty because *ALL* of the available items that are usually granted to you by field trips are pretty overpowered. They, of course, have the justification of being a reward for doing great on the field trip, but if you just straight up give Johnny your bus pass and let him do the field trip... what's the justification now?
Also, on that topic, it also doesn't make sense for Johnny. Why would he go and do your field trip for literally nothing in return? At least it should cost YTPs or something.
EDIT: On a sidenote, NPCs should have a flashing indicator when they are about to become unsquished.
