Well, you could use oldsport's mod menu[oldsportofficial.itch.io], although that ended support a few months back. I recommend the PineDebug menu[gamebanana.com] - incredibly polished, and very early in development. It is a bit barebones at the moment, but it's in beta. The one con is that it's very confusing to install (you need to extract the files using 7-Zip)- but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Well, if you don't want to be installing 7-Zip to unzip the .7z file the PineDebug menu comes bundled in, I'd recommend using oldsport's. He has a video explaining how to install it:

How do i set up the Pinedebug menu mod?
  1. download PineDebug, the BB+ DevAPI[gamebanana.com], and BepInEx[github.com]
  2. install BepInEx
  3. after BepInEx is installed, insert PineDebug and DevAPI into the "plugins" folder that BepInEx generated

You're missing a few crucial steps:
1.) Install the PineDebug .7z file
2.) Install 7-Zip
3.) After setting up 7-Zip, right click on the .7z file
4.) When the options menu comes up, hover over "7-Zip"
5.) Click "Extract Here"
6.) After a bit, a few folders should come up (BALDI_Data, BepinEx, and PineDebug should be the main ones).
7.) This step is a little misleading: Install a separate instance of BepinEx. Drag that into BB+.
8.) Open BB+ to gain access to the Plugins folder.
9.) Drag ALL of the PineDebug files (BALDI_Data, BepinEx, and PineDebug), into BepinEx's plugins folder.
10.) Install MTM's BB+ Modding API and drag that into the Plugins folder as well.

If all goes well, and I didn't miss any steps, it should work.

ah, I had never used PineDebug menu before so I figured it'd be like installing other BepInEx mods, which the video I linked coincidentally also went over. thank you for clarifying

By the way, pro tip to anyone modding, use a separate instance of the game for modding so that you can keep a clean vanilla version. Baldi's Basics has no DRM so you can create as many copies of the game as you'd like, regardless of platform.

Precisely. I forgot to mention this earlier.
It's also useful for backing up older versions of the game.

I'm already right here knowing that I've done too much during Alpha phase when they should've been into Beta phase.
