If she paused the floor timer while she was active, that'd be an interesting synergy, but not necessarily a good one. The floor timers are, in their current state, quite generous already.
The weeping angel-esque rework you suggested seems fairly interesting, and a nice callback to the Test's old mechanics, but it in itself seems kind of out-of-place. The Test worked because he clearly has something supernatural(?) about him. Mrs. Pomp is just an ordinary human (that's stuffed into a really large high-heel shoe but we don't talk about that). If she gets mad at you, she won't wait to charge you while you're looking away, she'll just grab you anyways. Plus, it'd be kind of awkward to just be able to stare at an angry Mrs. Pomp without her moving.
