Baldi was conceived when mystman12 was a child and he drew numerous comics surrounding Baldi. He first tried to make a Baldi game on SmileBASIC, I think in November 2015. It's kind of amazing the history of Baldi's Basics and how it turned out, with a childhood idea becoming a viral GameJam 2018 game spawning a full-fledged project.

Only V0.2 and V0.3 haven't got pre release (imo BBKED is pre-release for V0.1 - almost nothing change since then)

I mean, maybe gameplay wise, but the kickstarter demo is still much more different to v0.1 compared to a prerelease versus its public version

it only had hide & seek (called main mode) and explorer mode (called free run), you couldn't set the seed, couldn't enable captions, only sensitivity option was for mouse... didn't even have The Test :p

Gotta Sweep's the only character Mystman owns in his house to not have been mauled by a stick (Dr. Reflex got mauled by a metal one and AnC got mauled by Baldi's ruler in the kickstarter video)

...wdym with Dr. Reflex? if you're referring to the metal rod used to help support him that's just part of the armature

What about principal of the thing? He is in mystman's house (because he is mystman.) Unless mystman12 has gotten mauled by a stick I think that principal might be safe.

I think he means Dr. Reflex's clay model was absolutely destroyed by mystman after all the sprite pictures were taken.

Dr. Reflex too thanks to the higher quality placeholder sprites shown in this news post revealing his addition

(Cloudy Copter was also shrunk after camping demo, but the sprite itself didn't change so I suppose that's not a 'redesign' lol)

maybe? but that was moreso from being handled so much as opposed to the support rod- if anything it looks like taking Dr. Reflex off the stand to animate the hammer swinging is what did the most damage :p
