Suggestion for the current door system
So, one of the big changes with doors in BB+ is that they now appear as whatever room is on the other side, rather than the on it is in. This was a good idea and made it easier to tell what door is on the other side.

The main issue with this though, is that for some reason, classroom and hallway doors are the same blue with 99 texture. Due to this, it is almost impossible to tell if it is a classroom or hallway on the other side of a room. For instance, if you are in a faculty room, and there are two blue doors going out of it, and you came in one of them, you don't know if the other blue door goes to a classroom or hallway unless you have already been there on the map.

My suggestion is that hallway doors will be some sort of bland, one color door or some sort of generic looking wooden door. This way, you will be able to tell what is on the other side of all doors.

def agree, as there's no reason for hallways to be labelled with a room number

since Dr. Reflex's office has a blue door with a giant 'H' on it, maybe regular hallway doors can be plain blue and the 99 on classroom doors be slightly bigger as to be more obvious at a glance

Yeah, that's a good idea although I'm pretty sure Dr. Reflex's door is going to be redone because he was just added and honestly it looks like a placeholder, and also the clinic is white on the map showing it is clearly not finished. I do like the idea of a bigger 99, because right now they are small compared to other game fonts.

Though I think that all doors should be color coded, so as to be easier to tell what they are at a glance, so I don't think we should have three blue doors (class, hallway, clinic). All the other doors have their own colors, so here are some ideas that might work for hallway / clinic: For the clinic, I think the door should be teal or maybe bluish-white as a lot of things about doctors seem to match that (teal face masks, white lab coats, disposable gloves, ect.). I also think it should say something like "Clinic" in the same way the supplies, faculty, and principal doors do. As for the hallway doors it should defiantly be a generic color with nothing on it, and shouldn't be too contrasting from the brick / wood walls - I really want yellow, but the principals office recently took that, I feel like a dark green would work (darker than the mystery room).

In the original game, the faculty rooms are labelled on both sides, but not here. Don't know why.

So that it is more clear what kind of room is on the other side

Oh yeah that makes sense.

I like your idea for Dr. Reflex's clinic; it'd help it feel more medicinal for sure, and help it stand out a bit more! I'm not sure 'clinic' would be the right word/phrase to use, however, since it's moreso just a small office. maybe "Doctor's Office"? "School Nurse"?

I do still prefer the idea of at least the hallways and classrooms sharing a colour, since I don't think there's much reason to make them stand out as much from each other? both are necessary for progression so it'd make sense that they'd share a similar door. meanwhile, other doors lead to rooms that you theoretically never have to enter, though the rooms can still affect your run
_ if there were to be a colour difference, maybe it can be just a darker faded blue. that way, they're still easily distinguishable from a glance whilst remaining similar to classrooms. plus, it'd leave a little bit more room for door colour possibilities in the future

to be honest part of why I didn't initially think about Dr. Reflex's room being a different colour is something about it feeling like a similar 'safety risk' to classrooms/hallways? i.e you won't get into trouble for going in it, it's not often NPCs enter it, and it's not absolutely tiny like the Supplies closet meaning there's theoretically at least a little room to avoid an NPC in

but the more I thought on it, the more that didn't make sense lol. both because it's not that similar in safety risk in hindsight, and you never actually have to enter Dr. Reflex's office

Yeah, the main reason I think the clinic should have a different color is not because you want to go in it, but just the opposite - you don't. Because if you just turn a corner, see a blue door but don't look at it long enough, you might think it's a classroom. There are also time's that I've been playing and I'm at the end of a long hall, and it becomes hard to see the 99 / H that appears on doors the farther away you are. In general, I also just think that at a quick glance one might mistake it for a classroom.

For instance, let's say Baldi is right on your tail, so with a dirty chalk eraser on hand, you turn a corner and rush into the blue door next to you thinking it's a classroom and you can use your chalk eraser. But it's not, it's the clinic. Still, you use your chalk eraser in the corner but Baldi comes in since he heard you open the door, and since the clinic is so small, it wouldn't be that hard for him to just walk in on your chalk eraser and see you. However, if it was more obvious at a glance the clinic door was not a classroom, you could have passed it by until you got to a full-sized classroom / faculty room to use your eraser.
