Good idea! The scissors could definitely be made more useful.
I would just say that I think the game lacks a lot of sound effects, scary or not. When you buy an item in a machine, when you pick up an item, or when you press the menu buttons etc.
Sounds in a game is very important to me and I think it's a major part of a game !
beans and gotta sweep need nerfing
these two characters are responsible for most of my deaths and they always felt cheap, the other characters (at least that I came accross in my 2 hour play session) felt like a fair fight, I could adapt to the circumstances they provided and if I failed as a result of them it was my fault. however when confronted with beans his attacks are unavoidable, I'm in a long hallway, sandwhiched between baldi and beans with no rooms to duck into I'm forced to run into the gum get stuck and lose. that's bad design. gotta sweep simply sweeps baldi directly into you without any kind of warning resulting in an instant loss, again bad design. there's no way to counter, avoid or fight back, you simply lose, period.
You can choose which characters show up in the level via a menu (Think Custom Night in Five Nights at Freddy's), you can also choose how many Notebooks are in the level (and thus also determining how large the level is).
When it comes to the specifics:
-You can only raise the amount of Notebooks in a level to the highest amount of Notebooks you've already seen in Hide and Seek.
-You need to unlock selectable characters via beating levels in Hide and Seek that feature them.
-You can enable various challenge conditions for the floor, if you beat the corresponding
challenge. (Example: You can enable the Grapple Challenge's conditions if you've beaten it.)
-You can enable and disable which random events are able to occur, or just disable them completely.
