Baldi's Basics Plus

beans and gotta sweep need nerfing
these two characters are responsible for most of my deaths and they always felt cheap, the other characters (at least that I came accross in my 2 hour play session) felt like a fair fight, I could adapt to the circumstances they provided and if I failed as a result of them it was my fault. however when confronted with beans his attacks are unavoidable, I'm in a long hallway, sandwhiched between baldi and beans with no rooms to duck into I'm forced to run into the gum get stuck and lose. that's bad design. gotta sweep simply sweeps baldi directly into you without any kind of warning resulting in an instant loss, again bad design. there's no way to counter, avoid or fight back, you simply lose, period.

Tbh I've always felt like gotta sweep should just be removed since his mechanic sucks in general and I see no way to balance it.
Maybe mystman should shrink the bubblegum's hitbox and make it so that you can hug the wall to avoid it.

doing that would turn beans from an extreme frustration to a lovable clutch character, because you could use him to gum up baldi by getting in his way and then going "syke" when baldi is behind you. that would be WAY better!

Also gotta sweep has the boots which I find a lot that lets you walk through him when he goes by you and also allows you to walk normally or run down cloudy copter air stream

Items aren't the solution to an unbalanced character since the level generator can work against your favor plus big ol boots won't stop gotta sweep from slamming *baldi into you*.

Yet Gotta Sweep can still sweep Baldi away from you. Not to mention, if you can see him coming, there's already several options to get out of the way of something; lockers, other hallways, hallways that are just slightly longer, etc.

He CAN sweep baldi away from you and that makes him a double edged sword like Mystman intends the characters to be! But my problem with him is that his mechanic can end your runs unfairly,mess up your strategy and/or put you in situations you can do NOTHING about. For example:
- He can pull you out of a classroom far away from a notebook you were about to get,
- He can randomly come down a hallway and push you when baldi is right behind you,
- He can move the principle into the hallway you're in when you're running,
- He can move you into the bully and make you lose a good item,
- He can suddenly come down a hallway with baldi and end your run,
- He can move baldi into you from behind
and MANY OTHER UNFAIR SITUATIONS.

You can see him coming,yes but the thing is! He's so fast,you barely have any time to react to him coming toward you unless the hallway is ridiculously long.

That's.. Kinda the point of all the characters. They are supposed to be annoying, slow you down, and mess with you so Baldi can catch up, but some of them can also help the player as well if you use them right.

Also, you can use lockers.

yeah exactly if baldi is coming towards you and you have a locker near by just hop in a locker and he'll zoom by with gotta sweep then get out and walk in the other direction just make sure you dont use the lockers to hide from baldi when he's not stuck to gotta sweep as he'll camp outside your locker

well ive always had tons of lockers and rooms to hide into from my 5 hours of gameplay and mythman did say he's going to work on improving the random generator so its a lot better so your gonna most likely not have the random generator working against you

This game is RNG, just accept it and move on. A large part of the game is based on RNG, always has.

Meh I think they are fine, this game can't be too easy. The game is meant to be hard and challenging. (Because if you do nerf them, they won't even be a challenge.)

they're balanced imo cus the shoes counter them both and you can just duck into a locker or seperate room to dodge

Mystman DID say he wants there to be as few RNG related losses as possible though!
