Can't stream game on Discord

Whenever I try screensharing the application to my friends one of two things happen:

1. The stream shows Lumi's black glitchy circle body with the rest of my screen blacked out on the stream as a result of Discord saying "Your stream is paused, swap back to your application to resume streaming."

or

2. Discord doesn't let me stream it at all if you don't click the screenshare button while it's on the Unity splash screen before Lumi overlays on top of your desktop.

When I first downloaded the game this afternoon there was a black screen with the title of the game, a continue button, and a button to change the language. Being on that title screen is the only time Discord let the game properly stream. However my problem started once I tried responding to a message while the game was open and now it won't stop saying the game is minimized. No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall I can't get that title screen to pop up again.

Am I gonna be forced to screenshare my whole screen and have them miss out on hearing the game's audio or is there a way to fix this?

I'm afraid Discord can only record the game while it is set to record the desktop itself. As you mentioned, it won't record audio which is not ideal.

Unfortunately, this is really a Discord issue and I have no way to fix this. Perhaps using OBS you might be able to stream into a virtual camera, and then tell Discord to stream that virtual camera to your friends.
