Progress Decryption Bar 1 week? please help?

So i made it to this point.. and it wants to decrypt and the progress bar is an entire week. she says "can you speed this up somehow? but nothing on that. my very first instinct is to allocate more memory but that's.. not the feel of how this game is supposed to work. i feel it wants me to.. do something but im at a loss of what. i poked around the files where teh 'application' are and saw a decryption progress bar config, but it has almost nothing in it, and i deleted everything in it, saved reloaded and it was still like that. please help?

Thank you. It didn't crossed my mind messing with PC time settings.

I hope this gets removed at some point, changing the time settings can cause issues to the PC, specially if it's not changed back to right after doing this.
Steam even started updating games queued to download in the future when I changed the time.

Yah changing the date and time is a weird mechanic. i hope the dev changes it to something else

I tried closing all other apps to make it faster but the puzzle was fun.

It's possible to change your settings (on my computer, you'd turn off the automatic setting before moving to progress the clock). It's funny as a logical puzzle, although any sort of download wouldn't speed up by changing your PC's calendar so may be hard to realize for some people.

[Alternate options would either be wait for the decrypt's week-long timer to go through naturally, or go into the Debug Menu [hold Shift and press Q 3 times] and chapter select into the 3rd Memory.]

Not so unique. There were other games without internal timer that allowed to skip waiting time by changing system time..

the puzzle was fun and i figured it out in like two minutes without googling. idk why you guys want the dev to remove this it was insanely creative.
