How to remove drugs from a jar

I just put 10g of weed into a jar that can hold 30g. I'm right-clicking on it and a bunch of options come up. The bottom one is "Dump Contents" but when I move the mouse over to select that option the menu disappears... Anyone else have this problem? How do I remove the 10g of war from the jar?

that jar has 3g weed inside, so i package (the highlighted one) 3grams add that to inventory...

the jar will now be empty and i can put the package back on the workbench or sell it whatever
